Since we have providers for necessary equipment for audio and video for most applications, we ask that you use our vendors for these services. 

We work with a local company (Josh Nicol) to provide Audio equipment to meet your needs. Arrangements should for made at least 90 days in advance of event when possible.  If you sign a DJ contract with Josh within 30 days of signing your contract with Khimaira, Josh will provide a $50 discount!  Advance planning helps with scheduling, so he is providing this savings for your early bird signups! Sometimes last minute requests can be accommodated, depending on needs. Pricing includes delivery; setup on site; and take down.   We have compared a variety of rental services, and have found this pricing is very reasonable as a discounted price is provided for Khimaira Farm clients. The quality is high end and professional, and we highly recommend it for your event.  

Each system includes your choice of a wireless lapel microphone or corded microphone.   

Wireless lapel microphone (lavaliere):  Sometimes it can be difficult to hear the officiant speaking and the exchange of vows in a large and open outdoor setting. A wireless  microphone makes it much easier for guests to be able to hear the ceremony (and this is sometimes  a requirement by officiants),  or can be used for amplifying by musicians. This unit is a professional quality system that is small and lightweight  with attached tie bar and a windscreen to minimize wind noise. Includes body pack transmitter and receiver. It could also be mounted onto a stand if necessary. Your guests will appreciate being able to hear what is being said!

Both systems include background music being played pre-ceremony while your guests are mingling and enjoying the gardens! This PA System can also be used to  provide music for the ceremony (you can bring your IPOD, MP3 Player or CD with your music preloaded).

PA System #1:  This is the smaller setup that includes a wireless or standard corded microphone with stand; speakers; power amp; mixing board and speaker stands.    This includes two 12" monitor speakers with horns and stands .  Can be setup in the garden or field for ceremony or the barn for the reception.  (See secondary usage note below).  $225.00  PLEASE NOTE:  If you are using our onsite DJ services by Josh Nicol, this price is discounted to $150.00. 

Any secondary usage of audio equipment (such as setup in the barn for IPOD, MP3 Player or CD player/connection) is available on a limited  basis by advance arrangement only.   The second use charge is $175.00, and covers moving equipment to the second location, setting up, and an attendant available for technical consult if needed during the event.  This is professional equipment that is not available for lease without the company's supervision. 

PA System #2:  This package includes all of the equipment in #1, with two additional speaker enclosures with dual  15" speakers (in  each 4' box cabinet) for greater coverage and quality.  The additional speakers provide a better "surround" sound quality, and the speakers can be controlled individually.  This allows the sound to be distributed evenly throughout the area without having to raise the volume in any one location.     $350.00
